Alternately known as the Phantom Horse course, this Forrest Richardson design opened in 1980 and features water on holes 1-4 and at 15. Otherwise, this is a traditional target-style desert course. A 7,000-square-foot practice green includes a sand bunker and chipping area, allowing practice for a variety of shots up to 40 yards. The course is owned and operated by Arizona Grand Resort.

Played while staying at the resort so hospitality was great. Pace of play was good until last three holes when I caught up to a wedding party outing. Course was in great shape and the greens were fast and true. Need to keep driver in bag for certain holes and will next time I play.

Pace play was horrendous. Practice facility was non-existent. If you like six hour rounds in the 110 degree heat, you'll love this course. Not event he awesome 18th hole can save this one.

The greens were a bit bumpy and rough but we got a smoking deal in the smoking heat of the day that made it a great game
