Raven Golf Club-Phoenix
3636 E Baseline Rd
Phoenix, AZ 85042-7214, United States

602.243.3636
Formerly known as The Raven at South Mountain - and formally known as "Raven Golf Club-Phoenix" with the city name inserted - this very attractive and popular course is a 1995 co-design between Gary Panks and David Graham, located five miles south of Sky Harbor Airport (KPHX). It features many mature pine trees and some rather subtle elevation changes -- even a few grass-faced bunkers along the way.

The peak season is late January to April, when the standard rates (minus advance reservations) are $135 on Mondays through Thursdays, then $150 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays. Full rates, including for advance bookings, are posted on the club's web site.

The course was n great shape and was cart path only. It was lengthy and difficult but was fair. This was my first time playing (Oct 2018) the course.

Played here in late Jan. 2019. Tees, fairways and greens were in good to very good shape. Pace of play was really good and friendly staff. One complaint, a course in the middle of a desert with little or no sand in the bunkers? Most were rock hard and next to impossible to play from as they are deep and have huge lips. Fix this issue and I'll be back.

Played in early December. Overseeding was well grown in. All parts of the course were in good condition. Greens are flat and easy to putt. Fairways are wide. An easy course that will be fun for all abilities.

Good course, forgiving at times in the roughs, and greens in good shape

The greens were in terrible shape. They had punched on june 8 and we played the 29 but there were massive brown and dead areas on the greens and could not putt the ball on any kind of line. Tee boxes and fairways were good. Overall a disappointing round

Course was in Great shape. Lengthy and difficult but very fair. Some construction on the grounds while I was there but it did not interfere with any part of the course, just a little dust in the air. Close to the airport which made it convenient for a morning round on the day of our flight

I also played this course, and it was one of my favorites. I really enjoyed this course, the greens are in great shape and overall course has a great feeling of enjoyment for the game. Course like these make me remember all the reasons I love this game. I highly recommend this course to anyone with any handicap.
