Metropolitan is an outstanding value. It's a beautifully designed links style course, and the greens and fairways are always in great shape. Unfortunately, the course is near the airport, so you'll get the occasional low flying plane, but it doesn't take away from the beauty. The fairways are forgiving, but the course has some bite here and there. It's one of my bay area public favorites. Very walkable.
