Greens are not a public course. they are well maintained and run true. Love the greens. Halfway house (Carlotta's Place) is a great place to grab a hot-link or Tri-Tip.

Good course but it was too dry. Especially for not even being into the summer season yet. It was difficult to push in my tee at the tee boxes because of the hard ground.

The starter has a David Feherty complex and insists on announcing players over the tannoy \"now up on the 1st tee Brian Flynn from the PGA tour sporting some 1980s surfer shorts...\" But firing golf balls down a hillside may seem like fun, for twenty minutes, but after four hours it becomes tedious.
The course is not challenging other than your shots will predominantly be from a downhill lie. There are few bunkers and greens range from very poor to very good.
There are some money views from the hillsides overlooking the bay and San Francisco, so take a camera. The staff in the clubhouse are very attentive, but the shack on the turn was closed when we arrived.
Finally a word on the 650 yard 18th. I know its your feature hole, but again, its simply a poor golf hole.

Although the course if very walkable, there are severe up and downhill holes with lots of blind shots. Also, be careful driving to the clubhouse from the front entrance, as the road runs perpendicular through the middle of 5 fairways before you arrive at the parking lot. I wonder how many cars get hit every week? Highlight: Hole 16 - one of the prettiest I've played in the Bay Area.
