Willow Springs is owned and operated by the City of San Antonio and located very near the Spurs' basketball arena. The course is part of the Alamo City Golf Trail marketing consortium. When the PGA Tour's Texas Open was played at this course, both Ben Hogan and Sam Snead were among the winners.

When I was there, the course was in very good shape both fairway and greens. They even developed a 1 inch rough that was challenging to play. Great value. Very worthwhile.
