My brother and I crossed paths last night and he wanted to play today (without a tee time). We went to this curse (yeah, I spelled that right) in Camden called White Pines. The only thing harder than the greens were the fairways. I think we were seriously thinking of playing off the cart paths for a softer lies. I guess that's what you get for $20.

I figured out how to play short of every green and how to putt long until the dew dried up and managed a 44 on the front nine. The back nine, I was sitting at 83 on the 18th tee. with an out of bounds range next to the 18th tee, I fell victim to a dreaded 10 on the last hole. Beeeacchhhh!

The guy I played with basically taught me how to play golf. Hadn't played together in a while. He saw something in my swing after front 9 @ Wyboo. I made the adjustment and... badabing, shot 42 pretty easily. This was after 27 holes and mid-day @ 95 degrees. Hope I can apply this from now on. I should be shooting in the upper 80's consistantly by this time of the year. Also killed the new driver. HD

Crickentree is a pretty tough course. I'd say 89 is a decent score there. It definately demands acurate tee shots.

Played from the blue tees shot my average score and dropped my hcp a 1/2 stroke , this also leaves me to believe that crickentree is considered a very challenging course. oh well lets get up guys and enjoy some cooler temps !!
