Introduced in 2012, Mizuno's JPX-825 Pro irons represent a blend of game improvement and better-players' features, with the Mizuno Grain Flow Forging of 1025E mild carbon steel. The "Enhanced COR" face design is meant to provide more distance, while a triple-cut sole design is designed to cut through a variety of turf conditions. The 4-7 irons have a deep-undercut, CNC-milled cavity, while the 8-GW have a full cavity.
