- WilsonThis series of "player's cavity" irons and wedges was named in honor of Wilson club designer Robert Mendralla.
Weight is distributed low on long irons, then progressively higher on short irons for optimum shot trajectory through the set. Progressive offset and a thin top-line are designed for intermediate-to-better golfers. The hosel used Wilson's .450-inch diameter Fat Shafts to reduce torque on the downswing.
