This venerable northwoods course opened in 1968; the name refers to Lake Itasca, the source of the Mississippi River located some nine miles north of the course. The standard walking rates are $25 for nine and $45 for 18. (With a cart, those rates are $36 and $62, respectively.) Sliding twilight and student rates are available, as are memberships.
