There are five lakes on the front nine, and the back nine is tight and narrow. The course is flat, but wind can be a factor. Diablo Creek features a teaching center, which also serves as The First Tee of Contra Costa.

They need to add pin point for the SGXW.
Good course, flat, easy to walk.
Can get a little windy on some holes

Diablo Creek certainly doesn't seem interesting from the freeway, but I was pleasantly surprised. The course is flat with slight doglegs here and there. Creeks and lakes frame some of the holes, but none really come into play. For the most part, there is little chance to lose balls here. Landing areas are fairly forgiving and the rough doesn't offer up too much trouble. The blue tees play almost 6900 yards and you'll definitely feel the length on many holes.
