Dwan GC is owned and operated by the City of Bloomington, and was designed by David A. Gill, father of golf architect Garrett Gill. Dwan's undulating greens and narrow, tree-lined fairways make for an exciting course time and again. With four tee options ranging from just over 4,000 yards to just under 5,500 yards, Dwan is a fun, challenging layout where all levels of players are welcome.

Dwan is an OK course. It is surprizingly well maintained for how busy it is. I've heard it is in the top 5 in "busiest" courses in Minnesota. And for reasons that are obvious. Each time I have been on the course it is over-booked/too-crowded.
The course plays pretty short. To be honest, there really aren't any "memorable holes."
But...value wise, it is worth it to give it a try. Green Fees are low (comparatively); the course is well maintained despite the heavy traffic it sees; and due to it's short length and overall pretty easy layout, you do have an opportunity to post a good score at Dwans.
The course is worth a try.
