Bel-Aire Golf Course
3120 Allaire Rd
Wall Township, NJ 07719-9127, United States

This course is owned and operated by Monmouth County Parks District and is the only one of the County's courses that is open year-round -- weather permitting, of course. In addition, the same tees and greens are used year-round, without the use of "winter greens."

Holes 7, 8, 9, and 10 recently changed par and distance as the result of the County's purchase of some adjacent land; 7 and 8 were rebuilt, while old number 8 became the 9th hole. In addition, new tee-boxes were built. We at SkyGolf and oobGolf.com have updated our scorecard with a course revision containing that new information, while the New Jersey State Golf Association will re-rate and slope this course in the spring of 2012.

Also here is a 9-hole, 1,494-yard par-30 course; the non-resident walking rate there is $14.

Citizen rates and discount cards are available, otherwise the non-resident 18-hole walking rates are $19 weekdays and $23 weekends.

Course has improved since I played it last (20yrs ago). It's a nice place for your iron/short game.

This course is poorly maintained. Sand trap in front of the 17th green has weeds growing out of it! The county has not put any funds into this course. As a result, it's a haven for hackers and play is very slow.

I guess you have to be ornery to work at the county golf courses.
