Silver Oak Golf Course
1251 Country Club Dr
Carson City, NV 89703-8372, United States

775.841.7000
Located just 25 minutes south of Reno and 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe. The course offers 5 sets of tees but the Par-71 layout is 6,564 yards from the tournament tees. Nestled against the high desert hillside, dramatic elevation changes on the opening nine holes produce unparalleled scenic views of the valley. At times wildlife is abundant as the course and nature embrace. The finishing nine offer a unique contrast to the front. Sierra Mountain views to the south, lakes, and longer holes wind you through the Silver Oak master planned community.

played as part of Devine 9 package. Nice course, good greens, had some issues with drainage, but overall a pleasant experience

This course is quite challenging. There are lots of holes that play uphill and into the wind on the front 9. My biggest complaint is the condition of the greens. Many holes on the front had large dead spots. In addition, many of the greens were mowed to different lengths, making it very difficult to judge speed. In the current condition the course is in, $50 is not worth your time and money. You can go down the road about 3 miles and play slightly better conditions for half the price.
