Cherokee Golf Course
2501 Alexander Rd
Louisville, KY 40204-2296, United States

502.458.9450
Founded in 1895, this 9-hole course is one of the oldest municipal courses in the United States. This hilly layout includes two lake holes, so it is well-suited for short-game work. As with the other MetroParks courses, orange tees are specially provided for beginners and juniors.

Other amenities include a pro shop, snack bar, a large practice putting green, and a picnic area for outings. A fishing lake and playground area are adjacent to the course.
