This course opened in 1923 with a design by Bill Diddel, known for his work around this part of the nation. In the following years, a long string of architects including George Fazio, Pete and Alice Dye, and Bob Lohmann have overseen changes and renovations to the course. All the while, mature, tree-lined fairways have been a constant here, putting a premium on accurate tee shots.
