This 36-hole facility is owned by the City of Indianapolis and is currently managed by R.N. Thompson Golf. The two Pete Dye-designed courses at here are consistently ranked among the best public-access courses in Indiana and even hosted the 1982 USGA Public Links Championship.
Given the quiet, pastoral location near Eagle Creek Reservoir, Dye did well to incorporate the natural parkland setting that includes wetlands, wildlife, and rolling terrain.

A very scenic, enjoyable, and playable course. Not too long, just what my buddies and I were hoping for. Maybe a little pricey, but not too bad. Hope to go back

Overall high quality public course with very reasonable rates. Two very different courses - Pines is longer and flatter and requires more placement off the tee. Sycamore requires more precision to the green with hills and trees.
