This historic course has hosted many prestigious events, from Indiana State Amateurs and the former LPGA Mayflower Classic, to the 1978 U.S. Women's Open Championship (Hollis Stacy). The course opened in 1914 as a Tom Bendelow design; it was redesigned in 1992 by Indiana native Pete Dye.
