This course has it all! Very well maintained and nicely laid out. the surroundings are scenic with the tall pines as a backdrop. The staff is friendly and helpful and the practice area works well.

super nice course. the rates where a little high for the tee time, but it is what it is i guess. course looked very nice though. nice little plot of land out there.

Excellent course, I enjoyed playing very much.

1st time yesterday. Was pleasantly surprized. In time will be one of the best in New Bern. Great staff! Ample driving range, chip and putting facilities. True fairways are hard, but so are the large to medium size greens. Fairways need more time to grow in, but greens are ready now and require back spin to hold ball on them. Putts roll steady and true. Multiple tees on every hole and great course lay out with plenty of bunkers and natural area. Not as much water as I expected. Thanks to the helpful sign on #1 which suggest tee according to handicap, simply match the tee to your game and you dial up a course to challenge a pro to an inviting round for the novice. I will be back next time I am in New Bern.

Great course. Not very soft as one person pointed out (clay under fairway) so you get a lot of roll, especially when you miss on either side of fairway. Greens are great, fast and true.

In my opinion this is the nicest course in our area......it was a very profesional course from the pro shop to the driving range to the 18th hole.....my only negative is that its a little pricey....but it takes money to keep a course up to this level.

This is a great place! I'm surprised by the comments. The course does run incredibly fast, and there nothing but clay beneath the fairway, but it still plays well and looks great.

New course, give it a couple of good years for the fairways to catch up. The greens are in great shape. We definately need rain, course was like concrete.

Played front nine twice on sep 23. only 9 holes open at this time. course is in good shape and is challenging. looking forward to the back nine opening.

great layout. as of today (9.4.2010) only the front 9 is open, but the back opens on October 1, 2010. Needs to grow in a little but if they keep up the conditioning, it will be a great course
