Lamlash Golf Club
Lamlash, V7 KA27 8JU, United Kingdom
44 0 1770600296
Lamlash Golf Course is a delightful Par 64 - 18 hole, golf course. Although quite short in distance, measuring at some 4,640 yds, it offers a serious challenge for golfers of all abilities. An example of the challenge set can be seen in the fact that it has many long Par 3's, including two measuring over 220 yds. In addition to these lengthy Par 3's, Lamlash offers many tricky Par 4 holes where an off-centre tee shot will more than likely never be seen again. Set on the hillside above the village of Lamlash on the Isle of Arran, there are some spectacular views overlooking the Clyde Estuary and the Ayrshire coast, including famous courses such as Royal Troon & Turnberry.

Fantastic views of Holy Isle and Lamlash Bay. Some really good holes. Played late May, greens best on the Island the week we played (Arran Pass, played all courses in a week). Starter friendly and helpful. My 12 year old son wandered into club bar area (as he does at home club) and my wife followed him a few minutes later after golf before I got there. She said that she had some looks from the members. I don't think they're used to kids being around. Apart from that, great golf :)

Lamlash is a superb golf course in great condition and with very friendly staff and good facilities, very steep hills, not for the un fit but would go back in a minute.

Another true gem; the view from the 9th tee over to the Holy Island is tremendous. The scorecard shows the second 9 has 6 par 3s - but don't for a minute think it is easy; this is a real challenge of golf, and par golf is not easy. A delight to play, with a course in good condition, and very friendly staff in the clubhouse. Highly recommended.
