What a course! Brilliant plus everyone we met could not have been more welcoming. One of the toughest finishes too, a great challenge. I will be back, one of the best days of golf I have had.

excellent course, very tight for the main part, super condition & well worth a visit.

Great links course. Great facilities and friendly staff. Food reasonably priced as well. If you're playing it for the first time like me then go easy with the driver; a few well-struck (but blind) shots that look good from the tee can overrun the fairway by a few feet and leave you hacking out of the rough. Very good test nonetheless.

A very warm welcome greeting and introduction from the starter awaits you at S&A. The bar/catering staff are all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Sunday Carvery.
The golf course is presented to a high standard, undulations keep your interest and features make it easier to track/find balls if you stray from the fairway.
A most enjoyable round of golf.

Twice a Ryder Cup venue and numerous open qualifiers. A true test of golf and sometimes overlooked due to its better known neighbours. Fantastic course in world class condition.

Overall this course amazed me with its condition and the test it presented. I had a great score here after playing Birkdale in the morning. The course kept me going as i just wanted more of this style of golf. If you are in the area this is a must play golf course.
