A very long & tough course especially long between the last green and the next tee. The lakes partially filled so little disappointing & quite baron in places. The immediate area around this course allowed for three courses but only this one built. I live in spain,a 30min`drive away so familiar with the set-up.Course condition fine for end of Dec`but much too long for most average club golfers & I am a low single figure golfer!!

Fantastic track. More bunkers than I've ever seen on a golf course, which his a Nicklaus trait. Fantastic condition, greens held well and were very very true. Unfortunately all but 1 of the lakes were empty so the scenery was the only let down. a must visit if you can

Good course alot of waste areas that spoil view good greens plays tough off white tees and why did no one realize there is not enough rain/water here to fill the lakes! Really spoils some great well designed holes, 5 lakes no water ! Fill them in tidy the place up.

Toughest of the Nicklaus Trail courses, not helped by the fact we played in a 40mph gusting wind, strong enough to blow the flags out of the holes.
Greens were almost impossible to hold. Even the pro said he'd been using a 58 deg wedge and could barely stop the ball, so mid-handicappers like myself really struggled.
This is an amazing course and it will hold the Spanish Open withing the next 3-5 years without a doubt. A Must if you are in the area

One of the best tracks I've ever played. Every hole is different and with the surrounding mountains encompassing the course its very scenic. The fairways slope and bend their way to some of the biggest greens ever. If you manage to get to them in regulation well done now hold your breath and see if you're good enough to get down in 2!!!! This course has the most testing par 3's but gives you chance to get it back on the par 5's.
Give it a crack you won't be disappointed. Will probably hold a major tournament at some point.

It is a beautiful course. A Jack Nicklaus signature course. Every low handicapper it is a must to play if you are in the area.
