Alternately known as Blackhawk Trace Golf Club, this 27-hole facility is attached to the Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort. Among the notable holes here are a 615-yard par-5 with an elevated approach, and a 155-yard par-3 with a full island green. Blackhawk Trace has hosted three NGA Hooters Tour events, as well as local qualifiers for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 LaSalle Bank Open, a Nationwide Tour event. The resort also features four putting greens, a full-service practice facility, and a driving range.

The course originally opened in 1965 with a design by Robert Bruce Harris, then was renovated in 2009 under the eye of architect Rick Jacobson.

The peak-season walking rates are $62 on weekdays, then $72 on weekends and holidays (carts are $17). Various memberships are also available. Group and corporate outings are also welcome with prior arrangement.

Nice track. Played as a single; $49 on GolfNow. Paired up with another single. Great guy! Pace was terribly slow; two SLOW twosomes, and at least two fivesomes out. I know it's a Tuesday in September, but C'mon man!

I really enjoyed this golf course. It was in great shape. The greens were fast and true, but were really receptive. The bunkers have some of the best sand I have played in some time. My only complaint is the cost. This course will cost you $79 M-F and $89 on the weekends. It is not worth that kind of money. About half of that would be sufficient.
