This course is publicly owned by Angus Council and operated by the Arbroath Golf Links Committee of Management. This seaside links course is located just off the A92, about six miles northeast of Carnoustie. The course was designed by Tom Morris in 1877.

The group known as Arbroath Artisan Golf Club is resident here. Visitors are welcome here everyday.
