Eagle Nest Golf Club
3960 Golf Ave
Little River, SC 29566, United States

Eagle Nest was built in 1971 by Gene Hamm & Associates and renovated from the tees to the greens, along with the clubhouse, in 2001. Soft spikes are required on the Bermuda fairways and greens of the esteemed Myrtle Beach championship golf course. It’s beautifully surrounded by a Carolina pine forest that shelters dozens of bird species, which present a musical backdrop for all golf games.

Hearty cypress trees emerge like linebackers from freshwater ponds and wispy willow trees sway in the gentle South Carolina breezes, creating natural challenges and obstacles for Eagle Nest golfers. The gentle contours and generous playing areas are the ingredients for a pleasant round of Myrtle Beach golf. Playing from the tips, Blue-6901, challenges the low handicap golfer while the shorter tees, White-6417, Gold-5594 and Red-5105, are friendly to the higher handicaps. Everyone will discover a comfortable, yet challenging, round of championship when their Myrtle Beach golf vacation includes Eagle Nest Golf Club.

Friendly staff and a fair layout. However, the course shows it’s age and lack of maintenance. The rough needs a complete overall, an aggressive approach to bring it make playable.

The greens are the slowest I have ever played in the area — almost unplayable. The white tees were moved up with the gold tees on numerous holes, making the course play very short. Numerous other courses in the area are in better condition for a similar price.

I find this course very challenging, especially the last three holes, I enjoy playing this course,

Wide open fairways, nice course for the average golfer.

Great value for this well kept reasonably challenging course. We had a VIP discount card from the Links Golf & Racquet Club.
