RESORT COURSE:
This alpine forest layout debuted in 1957 and features picturesque views and eye-catching elevation changes, given its location high over the Columbia Valley in the rugged terrain bordering Kootenay National Park, the Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges. Resort owner Bill Newis has overseen some design changes in recent years.

This Les Furber design plays from 5,163 to 6,767 yards and features a blend of forested and open terrain along the Columbia River. The wide open valley, the snow-capped Purcell Mountains to the west, and the Rockies to the east create the backdrop.

Recent improvements have made this course a favourite of mine in the Columbia valley.

Amazing views in the Columbia Valley. Fair for all players.

A nice course and improvements on the back nine make it more challenging. Make sure you have water on a warm day.

Gorgeous mountain course. Played right after a thunderstorm. Twilight rates and no one on course made it inexpensive and fun. Not a difficult course, but worth doing because it is so pretty.

Always a great value, 3 new holes & some re-configured ones add new challenges!

Enjoyed the course very much, although there was no drinking water or cart on the course. The snack shack was a welcome sight on the 10th hole and the smokie was great. Had my Sky Caddie with me so I managed the course much better this time around.

I have almost nothing nice to say about this coarse other than the scenery is spectacular. There was virtually no on coarse yardage, no suggestions for play, no coolers for water and no cart girls service yet it was one of the most expensive places in the valley to golf.

As a public coarse then are capitalizing on the fact that the private courses are always book and thus they can charge anything they want.

Of all the courses in the Columbia Valley I fine the Resort Springs course the most enjoyable course. Great variety of holes with the finishing holes (13 - 18) great risk reward holes.
