This 9-hole, double-tee course is part of the Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort, part the southwestern Appalachian Mountains that stretch into northeastern Alabama. Given this setting, it should not be surprising that the first tee-box is perched on a 30-foot rock outcropping.
