This club was founded in 1921 with nine holes; the second nine opened around 1995. Visitors and societies are welcome all week at this links-style course, which is located adjacent to the Bull Island Nature Reserve, about 5 miles (8 km) from Dublin's city centre. When this course was renovated in 2003, it received some turf from a very famous Irish sporting venue: The old pitch from 82,300-seat Croke Park, the third largest stadium in Europe.
