Located on a large hill overlooking the East Lothian countryside, Whitekirk Golf & Country Club is a Cameron Sinclair design that opened in 1995. Sinclair used several natural water features and the existing terrain to sculpt a gently undulating linksy-feeling course. Although it is a relatively new course, Whitekirk has already hosted events on the PGA Mastercard Tour and from 2002 forward the PGA Europro Tour.
Visitor walking rates on weekdays are £35 for 18 holes and £52.50 for 36 holes, while weekend rates are £39 for 18 holes and £58.50 for 36. Access is from the A198, just north of the village of Whitekirk.

I've played this course a few times in all types of weather and never been disappointed. Well maintained course which blends into the hillside beautifully. Great value for money.

Very tight fairways and a good drive very often punished for only being slightly offline greens some of the greens like upturned saucers and will not hold a high ball in. Served its purpose for reasonable green fees at weekend.

A really challenging and enjoyable course. Although I had heavy rain all afternoon, I had to use every club in the bag. Looking forward to another round here when the weather is better.
