Grizzly Ranch is quite a pretty course set along the mountains. Definitely bring your straight tee game here, as the course can feel narrow at times. Greens are medium sized with moderate undulation. The course is somewhat hilly, designed for cart golf, but definitely walkable. As I hate taking carts, I was the only walker on the course. I apparently surprised most of staff with my choice to walk, as one person told me, he had worked there for 4 years and not seen 1 golfer walk the course. Even a random member drove up to me after I finished my first nine to talk to the 1 person they've ever seen walking their course. Funny. The course certainly doesn't cater to walkers as there are no walking paths past tee boxes into the fairways and no pedestrian bridges to cross creeks / barranca areas that criss crossed some of the fairways. I enjoyed walking the course, and would do it again, as long as I'm not holding up anybody playing polo behind me. The course is pretty!

Wonderful course, accuracy a premium on certain holes, moreso on the back 9. Scenery is magnificent, course is always in immaculate shape. My only downside - our last tournament, no food or water was available. For the price ($100+ per person) I would expect the snack bar open at the turn and more water be available on the course.

A great course, better than any other mountain course. Overall in perfect shape!
