Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club

Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club is the crown jewel of the Ranch. Carved from the natural terrain of the Mohawk Valley, emerald green fairways are framed with native grasses and a profusion of wildflowers. Seven streams -- meandering through tall pines, cedars, firs, and quaking aspens -- create ponds and waterfalls that contribute to the challenge and beauty of the Dick Bailey-designed course. From the championship tees, the par-71 course plays 6,983 yards, and with four sets of tees for each hole, golfers of all levels can expect an exhilarating round of golf.

This course is stunning with good views of mountains and meadows. Course is fair, but certainly if you hook or slice your drives by more than 30 yards, it'll be a high scoring day for you. Greens are a bit on the small side, with plenty of challenge, but certainly fair and not over the top difficult. I walked, as the course is very walkable. I love this course!

Amazing condition of the course! The starter got us out first in front of a couple of groups and we played in 3.5 hours as a twosome. The condition of the course was very country club like! Many beautiful views, creative hole layouts and interesting challenges, but fair at the same time. The rough is tough though so stay out of it.

The only thing I thought was odd was that their were no yardages on the driving range pins. Given the elevation of the course and added carry I'd really like to know how far it was to the pins we were shooting at.

Aside from that I'd say, if you're within an hour or so drive from it you should make the drive there without question!

Hospitality was awesome. course was challenging without being overly aggravating. I loved playing in the pine trees.
