Several courses are part of this famous resort:

The OLD WHITE TPC course was the first layout at the Greenbrier, dating to 1914 and a design by the very notable architect Charles Blair Macdonald. The course has variations on several famous golf holes from Great Britain, including a Biarritz, a Redan, a Punch Bowl, a Principal's Nose, and an Eden. This course has hosted the PGA Tour's Greenbrier Classic since 2010.

The GREENBRIER course dates to 1924 and a design by the notable architect Seth Raynor, but Jack Nicklaus completely redesigned the layout in 1978. The Greenbrier Course is the only resort course in the world to have hosted both the Ryder Cup (1979) and the Solheim Cup (1994).

The MEADOWS course was originally designed by Dick Wilson, then updated by architect Bob Cupp in 1999. The 18th green is a rather large surface shared with the Greenbrier course.

Also here is the SNEAD course, which is open only to members of the Greenbrier Sporting Club. Tom Fazio desinged the course, which opened in 2004.

The Greenbrier course is magnificent. Meticulously manicured in every respect with interesting and enjoyable holes. The only negative is the place is ridiculously expensive (green fee $250).

Amazing venue. If you don't mind $10 hotdogs its a must play. Overall it was excellent...just bring some food in your bag because the food price is truly absurd by anyones standard.
