The choice of three nines makes this a great way to spend a few days and enjoying all nine's the choice between lake-land, parkland & woodland makes the 18 holes great fun. The food is great and the service fantastic. we stopped in a lodge and you could not possible complain about the accommodation.

Fantastic

Played Parkland to Woodland today. The course was lovely with different challenges. The Woodland nine is very short, and doesn't require a driver after the 2nd hole. There are some lovely little holes which present a different challenge though. The Parkland was longer but again there were some lovely holes. Overall the greens were tricky although a little slow. Sand in bunkers was sparse but there was a lot of storm damage over the winter. Overall a very enjoyable day.

Played this twice now in the space of month. yesterday the course played short due to hard ground. The greens were true and difficult making for a challenging test of golf. The scenery is spectacular and the hole views from the tee boxes are wonderful. I would recommend playing this course just for the experience. The only down side was people in buggies chasing our 4 ball as we walked the course. It never ceases to amaze me why people drive furiously in a buggy just to stand on a tee with their hands on their hips. there is a limit to the number you can let play through.
