This Donald Steel-designed course has hosted the PGA EuroPro Tour and the BMW PGA Order of Merit Championship, as well as the EGU MacGregor Tournament. The course runs over 160 acres of Dorset countryside, rolling down to the River Stour. The greens have been constructed to the USGA's tri-layer specification and are protected by large bunkers and water hazards. A feature hole is the 16th where the green is over two lakes: the more aggressive the drive the greater the reward.
Visitors and societies are welcome year-round; the weekday walking rate is £40, the weekend rate is £50.

friendly and helpful staff. well planned course with plenty of water trouble. poured with rain all day so didn't see it at its best and struggled in the conditions and it played long. greens were true and in good condition although would have preferred if they could have been quicker on the day. would happily return on a dry day.
