What a difference a year makes. Played on a Sunday was expecting the very long queres and slow pace of play that this place is well known for. Shocked to find it very quiet. No double booking. However pace of play still terrible caught a 4 ball up that started 3 holes in front by the 5th sat behind them for the whole round without being allowed to play through. Tee boxes tatty. Fairways bumpy greens bumpy (played like a links course) Very overpriced, shop staff more interested in football on TV than serving you, Locker doors broken (looks like someone had been in and robbed half the lockers and staff had not maintained it) drinks overpriced. Needs to sort shop staff attitude out maintain changing rooms, maintain course a little better, stop overcharging in the bar.
Typicail golf club that makes it money from weddings thereore golf now seems to be second rate. Will not play again until i see either course has improved or prices dropped to reflect course

A very good, testing course, lots of high tees, high greens etc. The greens were immaculate for the time of year. A very well maintained course. I am seriously thinking of taking up membership.

Ridiculous pace, too packed on course. no signs saying allow players through or warnings about slow play evident. Tees and greens in poor condition.

Just not worth it. Greens bumpy and poor quality. Fairways look tired, and Tee boxes sloping and undulating. How hard can it be to get a tee box FLAT. Maximum profit minimum expenditure. Plenty of other courses of much better quality at a more competitive price.

Fine, but needs a bit of TLC especially the Tees, Greens and Bunkers
