The course opens with a relatively easy par 5, with a wide fairway doglegging slightly to the left for your second shot before tightening up through most of the remaining 17 holes.

Through your round you will encounter narrow, heavily tree-lined fairways and daunting water traps positioned close to the greens. The 11th hole, the course Signature Hole, presents a fairway that narrows the further it runs from the tee. Position is paramount from your tee shot to ensure your second shot has the widest opening possible between the trees flanking the sides of the green, and not to mention the creek positioned only a few metres short of the green. Scoring well on the 11th will provide a sense of achievement, and give you the confidence needed to pull out the long iron for the next hole, the 213 metre par 3 - 12th with out-of-bounds down the entire right side.

You will find this course to be well maintained year round, with manicured fairways and smooth putting surfaces. The modern Clubhouse, Fox Hills Golf Club, caters for all your after game needs, including full catering and beverage facilities.

Local Rules

Penalty for breach of Local Rule: STROKE PLAY: 2 strokes MATCH PLAY: Loss of hole

1. OUT OF BOUNDS
(O.O.B.) Areas outside the Club boundaries - Clubhouse - Clubhouse surrounds - Defined Car Parks - Greenkeeper's facility, adjacent to 15th hole - 14th hole whilst playing 15th hole - All areas marked with black topped white pegs.

2. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS Protective screens - power poles - irrigation satellite control boxes - water level markers - stonework constructions - course marking stakes - sprinkler heads - constructed roads and formed pathways - gardens rockeries - soil bins and ball washers all staked trees - distance markers. Rule 24.2 applies.

3. POWER LINES
A ball striking a power line traversing a hole must be replayed from the same spot without penalty.

4. COURSE MARKING
White stake/line - GUR, white pegs with black tops - out of bounds.

5. DROP ZONE
10th hole adjacent to 11th tee.

6. PRACTICE AREA REAR 16th GREEN
The area as defined by blue line may be treated as ground under repair.

7. ELECTRICAL STORM WARNING
A warning siren will be sounded and all play must cease immediately.

8. BEWARE OF GOLF BALLS
It is every players responsibility to ensure their own & fellow players safety. (If in doubt do not proceed).
