Not to be confused with Oatlands Golf Club in Tassie, this private club is located about 23 km northwest of central Sydney in New South Wales.
According to the club history, this course was designed by Rupert Black, who was Dr. Alister Mackenzie's chief draftsman for some years. The course opened on July 4, 1931. After being commandeered during World War II, the course was restored, expanded, and reopened in 1947. Oatlands has hosted the NSW Women's Open five times.
Visitors are permitted as guests of members; the guest rate is A$52. The club *does* occasionally host "open days," so it is possible to play this course, which tour pro Brett Ogle once described as the best par-70 course in Australia.
