Alternately known as Hainault Forest Golf Complex, this club offers two courses, both designed by five-time Open champion J.H. Taylor.
UPPER COURSE:
This course skirts the hillside closest to the country park with tighter fairways and more hills than the lower course. Although a bit shorter, the upper course is known for testing golfers with wayward shots.
LOWER COURSE:
This was the first pay-and-play course to host the Essex Amateur Championship Final (2003). The par-72 course tests long hitters and tends to punish poor course strategy.

HAINAULT WAS ONCE KNOW FOR 6 HOUR ROUNDS AND POOR CONDITIONS. BUT AFTER RECENTLY HEARING THAT IT HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER, I RETURNED BACK TO DISCOVER HOW MUCH OF AN IMPROVEMENT HAPPENED, COURSE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH THEIR NEW HEAD GREENKEEPER IN CHARGE OF THE COURSE, MONEY HAS FINALY BEEN SPENT ON THE COURSE AND THEIR STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL.
