This is a somewhat unique 26-hole championship course with two layouts of 18 holes. The chief feature here is the view of the sea from every tee-box; eight holes play on the picturesque "Point," sometimes described by locals as North Wales' "Pebble Beach." It is a narrow peninsula with the holes bounded on one side by secluded coves, rocky outcrops, and the sea, while the other side has an attractive stretch of sandy beach and a pub. The visual backdrop is of the Snowdonia range to the east and, on clear evenings, the Wicklow mountains of southern Ireland, 57 miles to the west.

Visitors are welcome; the standard walking rates are £48/round or £62/day on weekdays, £56/round or £65/day on weekends (carts are £25/round or £40/day). Winter, shoulder-season, and twilight rates are offered. Societies are also welcome with prior arrangement.

stunning scenery course was in excellent condition and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly play the old nine out along the peninsula this is a spectacular run of holes and the climax of our visit to Wales overall a brilliant experience and great value golf

Great views, great experience. Played it on hottest day of the year. Agree with comments / concerns cited by others about walkers on the course - waited a good 10 mins on old course 11th tee for various groups going up or down the beach track! Playing alone on my 1st visit, I also had some trouble finding where to play, especially on 12th, where there are two green options; a shortish new par 3 or the original par 4. Sky Caddie only had the par 4 & I went with driver for that one(over a blind brow) only to find no flag or cup there! The 16th green also sits between these & I eventually compromised by playing to that instead! Also took some time finding the 14th tee (just keep going upwards)! However, overall enjoyed my visit immensely, rounded off with a very good value meal in the clubhouse bar.

Back 8 holes out on the peninsula are worth playing once for the views but after that play the inland holes. To many walkers not enough space for golf as well it can be choas or comedy golf.

This is one of the most memorable courses you will ever play. An absolute must

Fantastic course, views have to be seen

Great course. Breathtaking views over the peninsula. The old back nine over 'The point' was a bit chaotic; driving off across roads, cars, walkers etc that cut through the course. No idea how it could ever pass a risk assessment!
Maybe it wouldn't have been so busy with non-golfers on the course if the weather had not been so good. Would definitely play again but having now experienced the point, I'd play the 'new' holes on the back nine. Overall a must play, unique course that you'll never forget!

This is a stunningly beautiful course. The fairways and greens were in amazing condition and the rough was tough and unforgiving. Well worth a game, only play the point/old course for novelty value.
