This 9-hole course is located in Chaffee County, which contains five of Colorado's "fourteeners" and some of the state's most breathtaking and beautiful terrain. CPGC is located just 1.3 miles west of the stoplight in downtown Buena Vista, which is accessible from Colorado Springs on US Highway 24, and from Pueblo on US Highway 50, then north from Salida. One interesting feature is that water is in play on every hole, either in the form of a green-side pond or a stream.
