This is one of the best municipal courses in the heart of Roxbury/Boston. A diamond in the rough! There's also the Franklin Park Zoo (featured in the hit movie Zookeeper) right next door. The front nine is open to get you warmed-up and over confident because once you hit the back nine you better start focusing because even great drives have challenging lies. One or two tee boxes are being upgraded, but everything else is beautiful and well-maintained.
