The club has existed since 1921; they moved to this location in 1963, when the course was designed by C.E. "Robbie" Robinson. Brampton GC hosted the 2011 Ontario Amateur Championship, which was won by Mark Hoffman.
Visitors are permitted only as guests of a member, although the club has reciprocal arrangements with nine other clubs in Canada.
