Shoreline Golf Links

Mountain View, CA 94043-1357, United States

Located near San Francisco Bay, Shoreline Golf Links is a high-level 18-hole course that was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones II in 1983, but was modified in 1986-87 with a links-type feel. Owned and operated by the City of Mountain View, the course is part of Shoreline at Mountain View, a 750-acre open space. As such, it offers particularly nice views on holes 7-9 and 10-12.

Non-resident walking rates are $38 weekdays and $54 weekends, although resident, junior, senior, and twilight rates are lower. The course is open 364 days a year (weather permitting); Christmas Day is the only exception.

Scenery could be so much better without stepping through ALL THAT DUCK CRAP! Oh my goodness they could almost spoil this fun little layout. Challenges and risk reward holes. Kinda neat seeing Google's facilities on the back 9... Fun day on a holiday weekend. Easy to walk on.

Holes are not well framed. Without looking at the map on the scorecard, often you don't know if it's a dogleg right or left from the tee box.
