This high-desert course located just east of El Paso is fed by a natural spring, which results in water along #2 (a dogleg par-4) and two ponds affecting play on a total of five holes. The course had been shuttered in 2010, but it re-opened on November 15, 2013. Before Lee Trevino became a successful touring professional, he had honed his game here.

The signature hole is #13, a 463-yard par-4 that requires a shot past water on the right.
