This popular resort includes a large teaching and practice facility and lodging. Rates vary by season and course. Four courses are at this resort, each designed by a notable architect or player:
__________
DYE COURSE
This tumbling roller-coaster ride of a course features Pete Dye's usual hazards, and is located within a private, gated community, so technically, the course is semi-private.
__________
FAZIO COURSE
This course is located between the Dye and Love courses and includes several lakes with water on fifteen holes, waste areas, and traditional bunkers. The relatively short length (6,834 from the tips) belies the courses challenges and hazards.
__________
LOVE COURSE
This course has a low-country feel while including landing areas and greens reminiscent of Pinehurst #2.
__________
NORMAN COURSE
Seven holes of this course run along the Intracoastal Waterway, while the new Champion UltraDwarf greens average 6,300 square-feet in size.

Played all four courses. They are spectacular . Beautiful and scenic all the while being difficult and challenging. This is a must play foursome. Looking forward to playing them again

Typical Dye course. Fun and has multiple tees for everyone from the pro to the short hitters.

great track, service and very good food.
expensive but that keeps the hacks from going there.

A solid disappointment from the Fazio Course at Barefoot Resort. Last year, we played the Dye course and it was in pretty good condition, so this year we returned and chose the Fazio course. What a let down! The greens were in dire need of some attention, almost all of which with scalping problems, disease, and turf damage. Several of the tee boxes really should have been closed to repair. The fairways and roughs were in moderate condition, but nothing that should command the premium pricing that Barefoot asks.

new greens were strange, unlike anything we've seen. Unable to hold any approach shot. ran true and fast.

Played on Wednesday for only $58 in the summer. This was an outstanding value. Some of the bunkers were filled with water after a huge rain storm blew thru three hours before tee time. You can tell that the course is well maintained, and the service was good. The only complaint is that if you want to take advantage of the nice practice facilities you better get there early. You have to ride a shuttle down the road about a quarter a mile, and rely on the shuttle getting you back in time for your tee time.
