Poppy Hills Golf Course
3200 Lopez Rd
Pebble Beach, CA 93953-2900, United States

831.625.2035
Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach is a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design that opened for play in 1986. It is home to the Northern California Golf Association - the amateur golf organization to own and operate a course. It is also one of the Monterey-area courses that co-host the PGA Tour's annual stop at Pebble Beach.

Poppy Hills was closed from March 11, 2013 until April 4, 2014, so that Jones and his team could redesign and reconstruct the course. Among the notable changes were sand-capping of the entire course, bent grass replacing poa annua on all greens, improving drainage, and all-new 11th and 12th holes.

This course has updated information like phone, address, description or scorecard and is pending approval. These changes must be approved before they will be available on a SkyCaddie.

...one of my "bucket list" courses. Absolutely beautiful course in a stunning location. Well manicured... and well worth the visit.

The 'new' Poppy is very nice. You know that you are at a great course. The maintenance is impeccable. I like the elimination of the rough. It's all fairway cut and beautiful.

Played in a two day NCGA tournment, what a true test of your skill level. Can't wait to play the course again...

Paying at the counter the clerk was plain rude to myself and another player. he literally held his hand out across the register in a hurry up and pay manner. myself i had mentiontioned a word to him and he replied "So". Also while teeing off on 16 the grounds crew was cuttin up and did not wait till the players had tee off to start jokin around. Other than that, do not miss out on playing poppy its beautiul since the renovation.

Great course, awesome value for the money if you are an NCGA member. Keep your eye on the wildlife they steal. Course could not have been in better shape, greens changed over course of day each day we played (3) easily the best course I have ever played.

Excellent value if you're an NCGA member. Lovely course, well kept and smooth, quick greens.

Exceeded my expectations for course scenery. Speed of the greens was a challenge, but course was fun to play. Need to space tee times better, it took our foresome almost 6 hours to play 18, on a Wednesday!!

What can you say about Poppy Hills? It is a great golf course.

Great course but greens very poor, cored, sanded and very soft.

Beautiful tree lined course with wonderfully framed holes. Stunning property! Large mounds line many of the fairways and subsequently you'll have may angled fairway lies throughout the round. Some of the greens are large and really undulating. There are a lot of hard doglegs. Trees are plentiful, so you really will be in jail if you hit it sideways. Club selection off the tee is crucial as the par 3's are well protected, and you won't want to hit driver off every par 4 and 5. Since everything is not always in front of you, what you see is not necessarily what you get. This is one of those courses where you'll shoot a much better score after you play a few rounds.
