The very notable architect Seth Raynor designed this course, which opened for play on June 13, 1925. Modern-day architect Brian Silva oversaw a restoration during the mid-1990s, incorporating modern turfgrass technology while retaining many of the original characteristics of Raynor's design.

While this is a private country club, they do host selected outside group and corporate golf events with prior arrangement.
