Riverside Golf and Country Club was established in 1925, with an 18-hole course usually ranked among the best in the Pacific Northwest. James "Scotty" Henderson designed the first nine holes, which opened in July of 1926 but are now holes 10-18. What are now holes 1-9 were designed by the well-known architect Chandler Egan.
