Following the closure of the former Colwood National Golf Club, this site is now owned by the City of Portland's Parks & Recreation Department and managed by Kemper Sports. The all-new 9-hole, par-3 layout has larger greens that will actually have two hole locations with different degrees of difficulty. The new Colwood Golf Center opened on April 1, 2015 and also features a large putting green, practice range, golf shop, bar & grill, and a banquet and event facility hosting up to 250 people.
It is located in north Portland, just south of Runway 28L at Portland International Airport. Access to Columbia Blvd is from Interstate 5 at Exit 306A, or from Interstate 205 at Exit 23B, then north on Alderwood Road.
In a previous life, Colwood National Golf Club was a private 18-hole course that debuted in 1929 with a design by architect Arthur Vernon Macan.

Not the toughest or most interesting track, but enjoyable for a relaxing round. Course and greens in particular were in excellent shape in July, probably the best greens I have seen on a public course.
