With bent grass tees, fairways and greens, The Timbers offers a stiff challenge with water hazzards, sand bunkers, woods and wetlands. Several dog legs require strategic club selection, but signage at each tee box will assist the first-time visitor in yardages to key locations on the hole.

This course was a very pleasant surprise. It very pretty. Nicely landscaped. Greens were in good shape and quick. Some very challenging holes. I played on a day threatening rain so the traffic was light and I could play quickly. The staff was very pleasant. I definitely plan on going back.

Geese crap on and around some greens, no drinking water on the course and most weekends no beverage cart and $2.50 for a bottle of water. Pluses: Challenging but fair course with beautiful holes cut from the woods. If not for the minuses it would be a great value.
