Very nice course with very good greens. The Greens roll and hold shots very good. Fairways are nice but could use some more water on them. This course isn't fancy but has a very nice layout and isn't too difficult for the average golfer but still has some very challenging holes.
Update 3 May 14:
This course has gone down hill recently, the owner is in bankruptcy and hasn't put any money into the course what so ever. Most of the fairways are more weeds/dirt than grass and now that the greens are starting to grow, there are a lot of bare spots where the grass doesn't seem to be growing. There are only 2 water coolers on the course and they are rarely ever filled up. The electric carts are old and on there last leg. I know all Scothurst needs is a lot of TLC but it is sad to see it in the shape that it is in.
Update 8 August 14
The course is in much better shape now as the greens are in GREAT shape and the fairways are starting to fill in pretty nice too. Still rough around the edges but they are doing a great job with what they have to work with. They keep the water filled up with cold water and since I walk the carts are not that big of an issue. I think all it needs is a little infusion of cash and it will be just fine.

Nice little hidden course. The fairways are not great but the greens are nice. The pace of play and the price make this a nice little gem.
